Sapwood-free poles

What does ‘sapwood-free’ mean? Sapwood is the light-coloured, outer part of the tree trunk. This wood is far less durable than the darker core — known as heartwood. By using only heartwood, we guarantee maximum natural resistance to moisture, mould and insects — without any chemical treatment.

Why sanded? Sanding the wood gives it a smooth, more refined finish. This not only makes it more pleasant to the touch, but also gives your project a sophisticated, modern look — whilst fully preserving the robust, natural charm of robinia.

Available sizes We supply our sapwood-free sanded robinia timber in lengths from 1 m to 6 m, so you can find the right size for every project. For the diameter, we offer the following grades:

10 – 12 cm
12 – 14 cm
14 – 16 cm
16 – 18 cm
18 – 20 cm
20 – 22 cm

The result? A durable, safe and aesthetically pleasing material that will last for years — ideal for decking, playground equipment, garden furniture, revetments and much more.
